Thanks once again for another successful draft where we had limited delays. Prior to our preseason prospect draft in January, I am calling a vote for a proposed rule change. If you wish to adopt this rule change, please post your vote of "Adopt change" and if you prefer to keep this limit, please post your vote of "No change" when you have the opportunity to do so. As with all votes, a simple majority carries or defeats the motion.

Proposed rule change
The current prohibition of six non-carded players on a team's active roster will be eliminated.

Rational for rule change:
This rule is proving to a logistical nightmare in terms of record keeping and to date the rule has proven to be an unnecessary "guardrail" since there appears to be no advantage for a team to carry an excessive number of uncarded players.

Adopt Change.

Can everyone who hasn't already please PM me or tar heel a contact email or phone number? We'd be happy to email or text you when it's your turn during drafts so nobody gets skipped and drafts move faster.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Adopted rule change
The previous limit of six non-carded players on a team's active roster has been removed as a league rule (based on a majority vote amongst league managers).

Chicago Rats dilemma

PostMon Nov 25, 2024 10:24 am

The Chicago Rats franchise is officially entertaining offers between now and the start of next season for Marcell Ozuna, a premier DH who has no roster spot in the Windy City thanks to teammate Shohei Ohtani.
