2024 Finals

This year, top 6 go right to the Finals. Those Players are:

I will be talking to the Players Board to see if they have anything they want to propose as changes and any details I might not be aware of but judging from what you did last year, I assume another 3 round live draft will be done for the Finals and since I am now aware of the 2 hour clock for the draft, that will be enabled.

I am setting the draft order to be the first 6 as you see above, the semifinal player who wins the Semi League 1 next, the semifinals player who is League 1 runner-up next. The next two will those who did not make the Finals in Semi 1 and let's go by the player who won the most games in Semi 1 and then the other player. If that's a TIE we will use the plus/minus. The last two spots will be winner of the Semi's 2 and 3 and will go first by most wins in their Semi Final and then the other team.

....(I'm) Trying to get a credit for everyone who makes the finals and semi-finals

Yours is a small ask, chaberlal, compared to the largesse parceled out in the Barnstormers Tour.
The top 4 prizes in Barnstormers and the PC are comparable. But after that....

In addition to the Windows game that SOM gives to Barnstormers that finish 3-12, SOM gives 92 credits to those that make the ATG playoffs. The PC....0 Credits.

I'm aware that ATG brings in more income for SOM compared to 20xx. But not at a ratio of 92:0!

SOM's improbable requirement for 120 PC members to join this year in order for semifinalists to earn a credit never had a chance to succeed. Thanks for trying for PC credits, moose.

For Finals draft order, I would propose the top 6 as listed. And then the next 6 would be ordered by 5 season score (used to determine semi-finals) + same scoring system used for prior 5 seasons (regular season wins + playoff wins + points for making playoffs, winning division, championship). And then break ties as occurred for semi-finals placement.

The above would follow previous rules + make it simpler for future years.

I think that Lochinvars suggestion pretty much winds up with the same placement as what I listed. The lower "seeds" will have fewer overall standings points anyway. With the exception being the Semi-Final league that has 4 finalists rewards those that actually won/lost the finals and then those who didn't make the finals places by most wins in their semi-final.

I will toss that to the board to come up with a "voted on" decision.

I was going to wait until we got closer to the finals to "ASK" for the 6 (or possibly 12) credits. If they approve them and award them now, the players might use them for some other league. Wanted the credit to specifically be available when needed for the finals. And that's many weeks away.

Regarding Finals, I assume its a 3 round live draft, and a stadium right? Does the stadium have to be different than the 5 we used during the regular season?
