Whoa, reduces fielding range of every infielder by 1?
That's punitive. You figure you spend a premium to get a guy with the best range rating, only to have it reduced by 25% just by having Infield In.
The reaction there would be to turn off the setting entirely, but you can't. You can only shorten the number of innings where Infield In is in effect, with the 9th inning being the shortest....the exact inning I would most
not want my infielders' range reduced!

This setting simply represents the earliest inning in which, with an opposing baserunner on third and less than two outs, you would be willing to pull your infield defenders in. This maneuver increases the chance of holding the runner at third but also increases the chance of a bloop hit through the drawn-in infield.I'll be honest - I see no evidence in game replays that any of that happens. And wouldn't you rather have the control to set the Infield In based on the game score, rather than the inning? Kinda silly!
