"The waiver claim priority is determined by the draft order of the most recent Free Agent signing period". Just want to clarify that "most recent" should be the one that will be in effect for the upcoming free agency. Current top priority should go to the team with the worst record in 2023. This may be obvious but just want to make sure since claims have been made before Phil has posted the free agency draft order for this year.

You answered that question before in either a PM or a response to my question on the league chat in a previous year. I just wanted to be sure that was still the rule, and our rule section that you quoted above suggests that is the correct result (and for good reason). We dont acquire cheap “control” on a waived, promoted prospect during years one through six. It’s not a guaranteed contract.

You are correct. The waive players could be picked up for the 2024 SOM season only at $600,000 and would become free agents for the 2025 SOM season. I probably should have included the MLB waiver rule for players under team control but wasn't familiar with it when I wrote this rule.

In any case, I'll decline to pick up the waiver players.

Thanks for clarifying Phil. I too will not claim any of tcochran’s drops.

Phil, can you update the salary cap sheets for each team to reflect the 3 $500k prospect slots so that we have a true cap balance number for each team. Thx TN
