Games played: 39

Eastern Division--The high rent district

Montreal Jays 25-14 (13-8 for the week): Led by Fench33, the Jays are tied for the best record in the league and hold a 4 game lead in the East.

Pitching leaders: Pedro is off to a very good start posting a 6-2 record with an ERA of 2.96/WHIP of 1.06. Pedro has 107 strikeouts in 82 innings. Jeff Fassero has started six game with a 2-0 record and an ERA of 2.72/WHIP of 1.08

Hitting leaders: Larry Walker is at .325/.370/.571 with 7 home runs. Carlos Delgado has driven in 34 runs and Moises Alou has knocked in 32. An interesting player to watch is John Olerud--John played sporadically until the last 4 games. In those 4 games, John is 7 for 15 with 3 doubles and 2 walks. It will be interesting to see if John gets more at bats in the coming games.

Players demoted: 5---Dave Stieb and Tim Wallach are among the players who were removed from the active roster.

Now you know fact: Five pitchers have at least 1 save----John Wetteland (4) Tom Henke, Ugeth Urbina and Tim Scott each have 3 while Duane Ward has 1.

120 millions$$$ New York: Cabrera24 is calling the shots for the club and is 21-18 (10-11 for the week)
