2004 Brad Radke

5.50 SO/BB ratio. "Ace" (liberal usage of the word) of the Twins' staff for about a decade. IMHO comparable to Mussina but on a worse team with little fanfare. Hopefully a 7* with 200+ innings. Quality pitcher with great changeup who pitched until his arm fell off in '06 when his fastball was about 85 mph.

1979 John Fulgham. Career cut short by rotary cuff injury. Nominated him based on potential Lefty biased split

Masahiro Tanaka 15 or 16 would probably be his best card

Kenta Maeda 2016

Hediki Irabu 1998

Dice K Matsuzaka 2008

Just a few Japanese pitchers that could use a first card. Would be nice to pair one or two with Darvish ,Nomo & Ohtani and get a all Japanese pitching staff

A movie starring Jimmy Stewart was based on Stratton's life.

Excerpt from Wikipedia.. On November 27, 1938, Stratton was hunting rabbits on his family farm when he fell, accidentally discharging his shotgun. The pellets struck his right leg, damaging a main artery enough to require amputation the next day.

1960 Frank Baumann CHI WS, LH SP/RP

- Career: https://www.baseball-reference.com/play ... fr01.shtml
- Superstar Sixties Card: https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/30630/1660/1/60

Versatile journeyman pitcher who turned in one of those from-out-of-nowhere dazzling seasons for Owner Bill Veeck and Mgr Al Lopez. Threw a tough sinkerball that resulted in 33 GDP (well-reflected on his card).

- Led entire Major Leagues in ERA at 2.67 in 185.1 IP.
- Posted a 1.198 WHIP.
- Led A.L. in ERA+ with an outstanding 144, defined as (league ERA/player's ERA) x 100, where anything above 100 is better than average. By comparison, HOFer Ferguson Jenkins with 7 different seasons of 20 or more wins never had an ERA+ higher than 141.
- Yielded just 11 HR.

A lefty who slants 4L. Looks to price out in ATG 9 ~$3.60M to $4.10M.
