there are a TON of RHSPer in this league, and love heilmann's clutch in the 6 hole.

i switched the line up to:

vLH/vRH

thomas
hornsby/charleston
heilmann
charleston/hornsby
appling/terry
terry/appling
sewell/travis
travis/sewell
ruel

off to a promising start so far (4-2 with all home games). i should be 5-1 but i screwed up my pitchers settings. also, i tried to switch the pedro to the 9 mil card at the wire and i didn't realize that they changed it so that day of league start after 7p you took the cap hit. had to drop pleis to cover the difference to pick the SP i had dropped to make the up the cash to cover the spread between the two cards again. damn you changes!!

Nice team for $100M cap level. I’d be a little concerned about having 2’s at second and short but obviously the hitting they each provide should outweigh the defensive shortcomings.

Mainly I was wondering why you chose to use the ’29 Terry instead of the ’30 – for .63M more you get a better hitter with less injury risk.

Good to know they changed to 7 pm. I'm always tweaking at the last possible moment. That does kind of suck.

Update!-first new team in awhile, what do you think?

so they did all right. second best record (93-69) in the league and the playoffs start monday.

my plan was to keep flipping the bottom 2 rotation spots between donald, bennett and sutton and hope they could combine to finish at .500 and it worked.

off to a solid 2-0 lead in the semi's. got outstanding efforts out of martinez, hall and radatz on the pitching side, and sewell, hornsby, heilmann and appling with the bats. giving the ball to pfiester and sutton tomorrow in hilltop. fingers crossed.

the boys went 1-1 tonight. it's looking pretty good at 3-1 in the semi's.
