Niner, the lesson to this whole thing is don't upgrade your software, go to Japan, downgrade your software on local macs, get caught in a SOMO transition, lose a laptop harddrive, make a backup, travel to Fukushima and points north for Research, then hop back to the US to arrange a meeting between your University President and the Japanese consul general, then get ready to fly back to Japan with that little replacement Mac and an iPhone trying to carry the load.

I probably should have suspended all SOMO activities for the past several months, but then SOMO itself did it for many of us! I know I've been, and continue to be a big drag on our League restarts, but I deeply appreciate the patience-- no matter how trying it has been-- exercised by all.

Qk was supposed to get in touch with me when he went to Japan over the summer, but I never heard from him about that, but when he made an offer to help move this draft along I accepted it. My outbox shows a sent message accepting his deal for my two remaining choices here in exchange for one of his prospects and a pick next season. I will look for our thread to confirm.

Bill has been more patient than most; it has simply taken me longer to piece together my mail and records for those leagues...

Just FYI Ted, my Japan trip got cancelled this year which I why I never got in touch. That plus I was doing a bunch of travel myself this summer & SOM was dead at the time. Weird that I got reply emails from you on Saturday on other leagues but none about the offer I sent until today, but anyway we're here now.

I have one applicant so far for replacements, he seems solid, but I will wait until tomorrow, see who else shows up...
