2024 FA Draft

We will begin assigned times regardless of where we are in the draft on Tuesday

2) Only those players who were issued SOM cards this year (2008 for 2007 season) and appear on TSN""s website are eligible for the initial draft. For future seasons, any player who had a MLB regular season appearance prior to opening day of the current MLB season will be eligible. Players drafted in the spring draft must be on the 40 man roster even if they did not receive a card."

He is apparently MIA in at least one other draft currently, not sure what is going on.

No idea why Ernie hasn't posted, maybe he thought I was taking over as commissioner now?? I wasn't planning to, but will if he needs me to.

Hawk was on the boards today at 12:07 - I don't understand why he's on the boards yesterday and today without making his selections. Makes no sense to me.

I know Ernie is busy during the day; he usually checks in at night.

It'll sort itself out. Ernie will have to decide when / if he starts looking for a replacement.

Since I'm up now, and Ernie is up immediately after me, I am going to hold off posting my pick until Ernie has a chance to weigh in as to whether the draft is on hold or not.

Anyone? Thats me! I think it's safe to say that the draft is on hold. As far as replacing Hawk goes, in USKL 2 I'm going to give him oodles of time. I oodle equals 3 quiznarts. So he has a lot of leeway with me. Ernies MMV, as Bill likes to say. Pretend it's the 8the inning stretch. I'm enjoying the break since it's been madcap Strat since March.
