The draft is almost over. The rules are in place. I'm not pausing it.

I've got a full week of travel next week, and family plans this weekend. I'll find a couple of minutes here and there to keep the draft moving, draft tab updated, rosters updated, and availables list updated.

Managers have the option of being skipped. Picks can be placed whenever managers have time to check in. My cell phone works in the bathroom.

I'm not trying to be difficult or be a hard-ass. Y'all said you'd have me as the commish. I accepted. With that sometimes comes unpopular decisions. I'm sure this is one.

During my many years in the Marine Corps I spent way too many holidays away from my family in places that sucked to be at. So having to check in to make a pick every 12 hours isn't what I view as a hardship. It's all about perspective.

Happy Easter all.

We arent Marines we are fantasy baseball players. No need to play the hard ass Marine BS. No need put the game above family . Nobody needs to get skipped just to “ keep things going”

Every day that passes once the MLB season starts changes the dynamic of a draft. A player with only one pick left is at a disadvantage compared to someone who has 8 picks left. Injuries, hot starts, promotions, all give additional information and advantage to some managers.

I'm upholding the rules of the league. The draft will continue 10-10 7 days until complete.

I think the decision of Sean is a hard one but correct. The problem isn't of his making, or of the leagues (as I think we've been moving the ball forward very well). The problem is that Strat released the cards about a week later than they normally do. As a result, games are being played and that has a direct result of drafts.

I have one pick left which will happen tomorrow... Why should someone who has 15 picks gain an advantage of an extra week of stats and games played over me? It's an unfair system that, again, is created by the late release of the set this year.

I'm also available all weekend for proxies. Since I only have the one pick left, owners can/should feel comfortable providing me a list of any of their players they want in the preferred order and I'm happy to proxy for them. If you want to DM me them I won't open until after I've made my last pick (unless you tell me otherwise for a pick in between, but I think I'm up in like 4 picks, and I know who I'm taking if available). I'm divorced, thus giving me more flexibility on holiday weekends :)

I'm having surgery on Monday and will be unavailable for a few hours. If it looks like I'll be up for a pick, I can send proxies. Agree, keep the draft moving.
