Mesacat posted in a different thread that he will not be returning to this league next season, so that would leave both his team and go4joe's team available for anybody who would like to manage a second one.

Exciting finishes again this season, as jflatour99/Fremens hung on to beat padrenurgle1/Plaguemaries by 1 game in Premier, jodynadu passed my Sugar Kings for the AAA title on the last night, and jflatour99/Atreides and ironwill1 tied for the most wins in AA, with JF winning on head-to-head run differential.

Special congrats to JF also, for being the first manager to win 2 titles in the same season and for winning the Premier div in 3 of our 4 seasons so far. Well done!

For those who don't seek out the separate league pages, highlights were as follows:

PREMIER DIVISION

98-64 jflatour99/Fremens
96-66 padrenurgle1/Plaguemarines
78-84 go4joe *
77-85 thisisray
71-91 unctarheel - to AAA next season
66-96 paul j kiggins - to AAA next season **

* Team available for next season
** To be managed next season by baseball cfo

Team results in Premier showed an improvement in batting from the previous season, although the results were still similar to MLB, with team OPS of .730 (vs. .728 in MLB), and ERA/WHIP of 4.15/1.24 (vs. 4.26/1.30). 239 HR/team was the team batting highlight (vs. 200 in MLB).

Individual highlights included Bryce Harper batting .302 with 1.063 OPS, Sal Perez slugging 58 HR, and Jacob deGrom once again winning both CYA and MVP.

AAA DIVISION

99-63 jodynadu - to Premier next season
98-64 tcochran - to Premier next season
87-75 padrenurgle1/Horrors
86-76 jmlopp/Warriors
78-84 oldmansmith2 - to AA next season
38-124 rant - to AA next season

Team batting was much improved in AAA, with team OPS of .747 and ERA/WHIP of 4.39/1.29. HR/team were also higher, at 249.

MVP Brandon Crawford won the batting title at .327, Mike Zunino led the way with 62 HRs, and Josh Hader won the CYA with 45 saves.

AA DIVISION

91-71 jflatour99/Atreides - to AAA next season
91-71 ironwill1 - to AAA next season
86-76 baseball cfo
80-82 Terry101
74-88 mesacat ***
64-98 jmlopp/Mafia

*** Team available for next season

Pitching was the most dominant in AA this time around, with team OPS of .716, ERA/WHIP of 3.96/1.23, and 229 HR/team.

Marcus Semien won MVP, even though the only category he led was GIDP :-). Likewise, Jake McGee won CYA with 52 saves, even though his other stats were rather pedestrian. Yuli Gurriel led in BA at .320 and Dustin Garneau led in HR with 50.

Thank you Terry for that really appreciated summary.

As for my 2 championships, I must admit I’m proud of them and I congratulate myself.

Happy hollidays everyone!

Ke'Bryan Hayes and Adam Frazier

PostSat May 13, 2023 8:39 pm

Neither Hayes nor Frazier are good fits for my ballpark, so I am looking to see if anyone could use one or both of these players. I do not have a specific ask in return so I can be flexible in any negotiations. Feel free to expand the discussion if there is someone else on my roster that you are interested in.
