For clarification, those of you that are indicating "win totals" prefer to group the 4 teams with the worst overall records from the previous season together in one division and the 4 teams with the best overall records from the previous season together?
1. lakeviewdave - no, prefer based on cumulative records from previous year for Season 1, and then Season 2 be 4 playoff teams in 1 division and other 2 divisions based on record, next 4 best records, and then remaining teams in other division. 2. TefJ[*] 3. Terry101 4. baseball cfo 6. chilliards 7. traderider - win totals (#2) 8. jmlopp 9. unctarheel 10. Muck - Yes 11. Jerlins win totals 12. klx22
Someone suggested I look at the wording of the rule from a different league. It sounds to me that most of you thus far are in favor of the following:
3) Cumulative team records from the prior year's seasons will determine the divisional assignments for Season 1 of each new year. The 4 worst records in the East, middle 4 in the Central, and best 4 in the West. 4) Divisional assignments for season 2 each year will be determined by the final win/loss records of season 1 of the current card set. Worst 4 records in the East, middle 4 in the Central, and best 4 in the West.
I was under the impression that the other league's language was identical to Dave's suggestion. I certainly have no opposition to his plan. I will gladly vote "no" to the current motion on the table in favor of his idea.
