Picking up freeman will do that for sure. I looked at him, but couldn't find a way to make the rating better.

I have a good rating right now but I'm not convinced a team with a bunch of players between 4-5 mil can win.

Looks like I'm going to find out. Nothing out there makes me feel any better about my team.

Usually that's the way I win most often, with a bunch of midish priced players.

Since you are in a different division--hope it works.

That would be a great study of past NLD top teams to see if the heavy weight Barry Bonds (2001) card strategy really works

Me thinks it would be like Michael Jordan playing with four (4) high school players and one (1) of those kids has to be home by 5 pm for dinner

Goodness ... a Saturday start.

Pays to pay attention (sort of)

Waiting for my good buddy Joe to issue his season ratings so I can adjust my squad :P

Looking through my archives - I first played against Joe and Wineman in 2002 - 22 years and I still wonder what the guy looks like - me thinking a cross between Tom Hanks and Kevin Costner

I'm a 6'3" version of Bruce Willis (not the young version with hair) with the dry speech deliver of Liam Neeson :D

Well, thanks for the compliment, but I look a lot more like Bruce Willis than those two guys! Got the same hair line.

I don't release ratings until halfway through the season so I can get a better read on the pitcher usage and guys stop making so many moves that the ratings are a moving target.

I can post this that shows how the money is spent for each team. Shouldn't be any surprises here. However, if you see something that looks out of whack, let me know!

Of course, take Semper's numbers with a grain of salt because he's STILL making significant moves.

Hey Stoney,

You misspelled your team name. If you care....

Who needs hair anyway??? ... although I have more than Snitker.

Hopefully my pitchers will put hair on the ball!!
