Not as much support, so far, as I expected to see for the 2005 Brian Roberts card. As long as it is fairly priced, I can see it getting a lot of use.

I agree Roberts would be a nice add, doesn’t look like much support. I nominated Tanaka who doesn’t look like he’ll make the cut either. I figured he’d be a nice small ball option, a few ball park hrs would make him nice in a Forbes field or Braves etc.

Roberts has picked up a few more votes and it is still very early, so he's definitely got a shot. Tanaka's ballpark HRs will likely limit support to those who like to play in no-HR pitchers parks at low caps and perhaps a few Yankee fans.

I'd like to see the 1905 Honus Wagner card voted in. Just my 2 cents. :)

I like the Roberts card as well, as it is a big improvement over his other cards and think that it would be a good addition to the ATG card set and would help the Orioles in franchise leagues.

As a matter of fact, I like all the nominated players who play 2nd base, Johnny Evers, Chuck Knoblauch, Whit Merrifield, Jean Segura and Roberts. All are 1s defensively and are good base stealers, and the Evers, Knoblauch and Roberts cards are improvements offensively over their other cards, making them perfect for the top of the batting order. Segura and Merrifield have no card in ATG9, and would be good additions to the ATG card set, giving their respective teams more second base options in franchise leagues.

I also like the group of shortstops on the ballot, Mark Belanger, Ron Hansen, Brandon Crawford, Pee Wee Reese and Honus Wagner. All of the cards are worthy of inclusion in the ATG set, with the Belanger, Hansen and Crawford cards representing the biggest improvement over their other cards.

I am fascinated by the 35 people who have voted as of today for the 4th Pie Traynor card. Any thoughts as to why anyone would care?

I'd say it's because it's significantly better than his other cards.

Sure like to see Gee Walker get some traction, xlnt doubles guy, smallball DH type, good speed and a 3 in all fields if needed in a pinch, lots of errors out there though. He was a fixture for years in Detroit!

Because the 1930 season hasn't been produced in Super Advanced yet. Anytime a card from 1930, 50, 70, 74. 79. 81. 83 or 84 is on the list I always vote for it.
