And there are still plenty of players who had decent (or better) big league careers with no card in the set.

IKR? Carlos Lee is still standing outside going "Who here exactly did I p*ss off?" :D

El Caballo! he could hit. got a fat contract from Houston and went into ranching. In 2008, he had56 xtra base hits and 100 RBI's in only 115 games b4 he got hurt. had 100 + the next season but had weight control issues. on most of his Strat cards he's 5 range. ouch

You could play worse defense in LF than this.....

2004 Carlos Lee CWS Bats-R BAL-E LF-4(+1)e0 INJ Risk-3
LH--2b- 3.55 3b-0 HR-7.5 BB-13 .332/.425/.612 OPS-1.037
RH--2b- 7.75 3b-0 HR-5.8 BB-8 .334/.395/.589 OPS-.984

Andy--
Is it just me or do the Moncada numbers seem too high for the card vs. righties?

Nope. Just double checked it.

thanks- for some reason the card looks too light to be over 1000 OPS vs RH-
but I trust you and so 'yes it is me' :?

Lot of BOLD on line 2, and a BOLD around 6, 7, & 8 on Line 1.

Just my opinion again, we need more catchers and infielders, not more first baseman and outfielders.

Yep- when you look at the numbers Andy runs-
gotta take into account that a 2b,SS,3b or C with anywhere near the same numbers as a 1b or OF is imho far more valuable- (not counting other factors of course)
