Ballpark Singles

I lost a game because two runs scored on a ballpark single. I thought ballpark singles were always one asterisk (*)???

There are Singles with the asterisk and yes only 1 base, but they have Singles without the asterisk and those can add an extra base.

In the board game a ballpark single is a single*, however 365 max rules include "more baserunning decisions" which essentially eliminates the concept of single* or single**.
