Hey Andy the cap numbers seem a little off or maybe I am just confused. Is the first season 90 or 93 million?

Suggs is listed on my roster but not Detroit's...

Am I allowed to use his Detroit card for the Reds?

Hey Andy the cap numbers seem a little off or maybe I am just confused. Is the first season 90 or 93 million?

The cap is 93m for Season 1. I've been doing these for 8-9 years, and just missed the edit. Back when ATG9 came out with price increases, I increased the cap 3m for each Season. (If you remember, a lot of bench players went up in price substantially; and I decided at that point to increase all caps 3m.)

There was another question on the cap:
On my Expanding Cap list, the cap for Season 1 will be 93m. We will stay 93m until Season 3, when cap increases to 98m. We will stay 98m until cap increases to 103m in Season 8. And so on......
EDIT: I see where I had not edited correctly below the EXPANDING CAP SECTION, That is now fixed.)


AS FAR AS ROSTERS LISTED ON PAGE 1 GO, for the most part I followed the high card, but for some players, either because of history of competitive balance, I placed certain players on certain Franchises.
Ruth because of his history as a Yankee, for example.
Another, Eddie Collins and Nap Lajoie are both high card to the A's, while Shoeless Joe is high card to Indians. I tried to make more competitive balance by sending Lajoie to Cleveland and Jackson to Chicago, with Collins staying with the A's.
We've played this theme 12 times already, so don't worry that your franchise may be getting the short end of the stick. I've tried to make ALL the Franchises that could be picked as competitive as possible!

Good question: They aren't on any of the Original 16 Franchises, so they aren't on a roster or in the Dispersal Draft.
They will be available to be picked up in waivers if you so choose.

I even had some success with the Senators/Twins in ALT 5, I think I had the last pick. I've seen Andy have consistent success with almost any franchise.

Eric had great run with the Senators in ALT5. I think he won 3 World Series in a row.

Here's who I've played (EVERY Season is different, with different variables, so this is not a "draft these guys" post)
ALT1 Dodgers, 1 Title, 8 playoffs
AT2 Cardinals, 4 Titles, 12 playoffs
ALT 3 Red Sox, 4 Titles, 13 playoffs
ALT4 Cubs, 3 Titles, 8 playoffs
ALT5 Pirates, 2 Titles, 9 playoffs
ALT6 Braves, 3 Titles, 7 playoffs
ALT7 Tigers, 3 Titles, 7 playoffs
ALT8 Giants, 3 Titles, 12 playoffs
ALT9 Red Sox, 1 Title, 7 playoffs (currently in Season 12)
ALT10 Yankees, 2 Titles, 7 playoffs (starting Season 13)
ALT11 Indians, 1 Title, 3 playoffs (currently in Season 6)

That's in 22 seasons, so there are some highs, and there are some lows!

You stated that Strat allows us to only carry 3 pure RP in this league. Can we, or if we have 4 available, do we have to carry 4?

Both make a huge difference in roster construction.
