the 69 cent scrubs are in the west. Only Pelzer needed to finish off the league, and he did say he would enter last.

Looks like I am going to pull out my secret "masher" weapon when Kev comes to call

And shoot, don't you think my screen name kinda looks to be named after George "Doc" Medich, or even Doc White. 8)

Naaaaaaaaaaaaa, but I was at the game in Atlanta when Pascuel Perez kept missing the stadium exit on I-285 and drove around either 2 or 3 times I think. Guess thats my one claim to fame in MLB... oh yeah.. I did see HAnk Aaron hit # 722 :!: :!: :!:[/quote:be134db20f]

Doc, that's hilarious. In those days, I never missed a Braves game on TV. The Pascual fiasco was pretty funny. The cameras panned the stands in that game. Were you the guy in the stands studying the "Federal Taxes for Dummies" book?

How on earth did Quirk hit double off a nasty left hander?? Your opponent must also still be thinking about it as well!! The baseball gods were with you that day!!

Kev[/quote:e63c96b42d]

Rolled a 4-4. Back then the good stuff on a pitcher was on 4 and 10.
He missed the split for a grand slam.[/quote:e63c96b42d]

It's too bad the double didn't just tie the game. Quirk could have stolen 3rd base and homeplate for the World Series Game 7 win.
Now that would have been memorable!!!

I forgot to jot down my top FAs. I know my top pick was Steve Trachsel. Anyone else take him at the top of their pile? He is pitching really well in one of my leagues at a very cheap price. :o Way to go Steve!! I also had Chris Ray, Odalis Perez, Lieberthal up there as well. :D

How about the rest of you guys? Who are your top 5?
