First time using him and after 54 games he has 8 homers and a 279 average in Comiskey? Anybody else had similiar experiences?

Hornsby is a hitting machine. His numbers will be there by the end of the season. Any card can by snake bitten by a string of poor rolls. I've had the likes of Ruth, Gehrig, Mays, Musial, Simmons and others all underperforming at the halfway point of various seasons, yet their numbers were there by the end of the season. That said, I can appreciate your frustration. When the big money guys start/go cold, it's especially painful. I once had Three Finger Brown start a season 0-8. Doo Doo happens.

Yes, I've got freakin Jimmie Foxx. I never used him before. Thru 75 games he is hitting a measly .254 with only 10 HRs and a paltry slg pct of .429 in Shibe.
What a bum. :(
Cepeda kicks his arse for half the cost!

Hornsby can't hit update

Well now at 81 games, he is at 11 HR and a .294 avg.

During the last 27 games he had 3 HR and 9 RBI's. In the same period, I checked my #7 hitter Crosetti. Crosetti had 2 HR and 20 RBI's.

He should have a heck of a second half.
