Is this unusual for Doran?

I'm under the impression that most don't like him. He's doing well for me batting 2nd at Sportsman '46.

I would bet you are facing a lot of LHP.

His l/r split is very good. OBP is better against rightys, Ave. and SLP % better against leftys. But not a very much difference. I'm batting him 2nd. Maybe that's helping him.

Doran, B. (S, 1L) vs. L 160 50 12 0 3 19 6 7 .313 .444 .339

give him time...he'll tear your heart out. he's just cruelly setting you up for an exceptionally harsh fall.

Doran is ok . Right now be happy for what your getting , but he'll probably stay above 275. I bat him leadoff against LH ( depending on who else I have ) and 8th against RHP. Has he been hurt yet? That always comes at the most unopportune time like his errors.
