OK, dropped morgan, picked up gordon....have had gordon on several "bomber" teams, and love him! So no problem there....

now, if I drop Murray, I have enough dough for

York
Powell
Cooper
McGwire
McCovey
Money

And of course the Mincher/Johnson platoon...

what do you think? :? :)

I think I would hang on to Mathews.....

I'd keep Mathews as well.

Can you fit Roenicke and Mincher?

21 HR's in 230ABs ain't bad, but Roenicke's OBP is very low. Not a bad bottom of the lineup guy, IMO.

And you can get Keller off the field late with the lead, using Roenicke as a D replacement.

Have to agree with PBTR...

I would never..ever..ever...never drop Morgan. :shock:

You have no BP...that is the biggest problem.

Move Murray to the 5 hole and leave him...watch him take off.

With what you have now I'd go like this:

Keller
Alou (Mathews)
Mantle
Banks
Murray
Carter (Alou)
Mathews (Gordon)
Gordon (Carter)
