Grats Geezer and Stros (a couple)

Grats to the B's. Ausmus, Clemens, Oswalt.

The Cardinals will be back. Revamped, retooled and ready to go. Talk radio here in St Louis today already started cutting and signing. What should be done? I will say this - Cards fans will be excited about going to the park - great sightlines. I've sat in the new seats from Terrace Level down to Field Level and they are all good seats. Old Busch you could not see from up high and God help you if the wrong person sat in front of you. I also expect more of a hitter park as LF is now open air. With the way the stadium is turned, may knock it down, dunno. Definitely more character than the cookie cutter - brick, glass, steel - reminds me a little of Wrigley.

Bottom line, Houston as an organization deserves this. And the players I mentioned above. Their stadium, man, could have done better - New Busch for instance. I am still somewhat miffed with some crappy calls (would not have made that much difference but still - this is the best umpire crews we could use for the big show?). Miffed by some players disregard for fellow players. Tough yes....intentionally going after someones legs, no way. It will come back around.
