I'm new at this and don't really know live drafts. But shouldnt 2nd round 1B picks have priority of drafting Wilkerson or Huff beforelater round RF/3b picks? Had to go way down the list because of waiting for people in front of me to draft. How can round 2 lose out to rounds 3 and 4? With such slim pickings at postions, makes a huge disadvantage from waiting.
No hard feelings, just doesnt seem fair...(if someone was really shrewd they could acutually delay a pick until another round opened for them)

You are right, sj, usually you finish a round before starting another. With a position draft I figured we could go a little faster by starting the next round early since a particular position had to be chosen. I didn't realize it would cause the situation you mentioned. If I had set the rules so that you could only pick players based on their "primary" position (the first position on their card) instead of just being eligible for the position, we wouldn't have had that happen.

I won't start round 8 until round 7 is finished and we will need to complete each subsequent round before we move to the next round. This will take a little more time but is more equitable to folks waiting for others to make picks. Thanks for pointing that out, sj.

Penngray and I finally had a chance to hook up and he is not going to participate in the league. We are going to need another blue party player and I will see if I can round someone up.

Blue party - please help look for a replacement for penngray.

really NOT that big of a deal, because both positions were posted i picked in that order so i could get both wilkerson and morneau, if it had been listed seperatly i would have taken Wilkerson at 1b, any way. I would be more than happy to let Morneau go if you would rather have Morneau at 1b than Erstad? Let me know :).....(course, then I would have picked Ford for my RF'er)..... ........Tom.

You didn't break any rules, tom, I set it up that way, but I'm glad it was pointed out so I could make an adjustment for the remainder of the draft.

Everyone, let's keep it moving forward!

Volfan is up with 2 picks . . . and so is scooby

Charlie if some picks need removed that is fine. When I was making them I thought they might be a problem but I had already seen others. My two positions I opened and my selections there will not change.
