Odyssey Tiggers challenge league

Just to clarify: this is a waivers draft and not a frenzy, right?

I'ts been a while since I entered a team but I do remember drafting at least two pitchers in the top three slots. Other than that all I remember is Griffith and that my team will be a surprising one. Of course, now I too will be surprised...

Yes, Petrosian, it is a waivers draft and not a frenzy. It will be interesting to see how the various small ball teams fare, since at least 5 of you were required to draft small ball teams. i want to see if I can keep a bomber team above .500 (I've never managed to do so yet)

I had Pete and Adams 1/2
then I think Meusel
followed closely by Speer and Frock and then after a little while Rommel

If this is the right team I am remembering it is looking fairly bleak right now :)

Well 3 bombers and 9 small ball teams. Like Ole Geezer, this is my first real try at a Bomber team, so what will the small ball 9 get with 9 of them going after the same guys and what will the other 3 of us get.

Looking forward to seeing what happens tonight and even more to take a bomber team, not my strength, and beat up on Chief Wahoo.

Speer is lost to me, had him tooo late.

Jump ball for Frock at the 4 pick? ?
Anybody have Cicotte? I tried to grab an Ace with a mid-pick, usually don't go for a big $ pitcher, but have wished for a good outing in the last series or round 1 of playoffs too many times, so giving it a try.

Good luck....looking forward to tomorrow!

Didn't get any of the big guns on the card, but got enough small ones to get the 8th waiver pick.

Who wants Boggs? I wish someone else was behind Mathews in salary  The Iorg/Nettles Combo won''t cut it. It won't be party on Garth for the Masacree :D

Pesky anyone? Offer me a good Baker pitcher or a corner OF.
