Looking for some wacky theme to try.

If you have any ideas, post them and I'll tell you which one I went with after the AD...just so some of you weasels won't know ahead of time. :D

[b:81ec82921c]The Rainbow Warriors:[/b:81ec82921c]

Every player has to have a color in his name: Red Ames, Dick Green, Ossie Bluege, etc.

And a variation on that one...

[b:81ec82921c]The Red Menace:[/b:81ec82921c]

Every player either played for Cincinnati, or has the name "Red."

Or...

[b:81ec82921c]The Depths of Mediocrity:[/b:81ec82921c]

No player less than 3 mil or more than 5 mil on your roster.

Or...

[b:81ec82921c]Alias:[/b:81ec82921c]

Every player is listed by his nickname (and no, "Tom" and "Mike" don't count). This team could include Pete Alexander, Three Finger Brown, and Babe Ruth.

Yeah, I've got a lot of time on my hands.

The name game.....

Every player, must have atleast 1 other player with the same last name.

Fox-Foxx is acceptable
Oakland 24- Dave henderson is acceptable
Willie and Kieth hernandez
all 6 of the Collin's

I created a team like that, and it lost the finals in 7 games I think

Hey Tim, why not try an "alphabet soup" team. I did this in ATGI and it was a lot of fun. Haven't had time to do it in ATGII yet. 25 man roster (there's no "x") 25 different letters for the players. Pretty sure Mr. Iorg will be your 3B. putting together this roster is great fun, do I want to have Alexander or Aaron on the team? Eddie Collins or Carter? Adjusting after the autodraft is interesting as well. making roster moves or attempting trades during the season is also challenging. \

Anyway, I had fun with this one. :D

Rick, that's interesting. I have been thinking about trying your all switch-hitter, even pitcher team.

HEY!

how bout, we get 12 brave managers to each list an idea for an auto draft team.

THEN!!!

We have a lottery to determine draft order. and, after the order is set, you get to pick what idea you like best??

Kinda a really short, really fast, shifting sands league??

Get thee into the G-Men challenge league! See thread, below! Only three teams needed to fill. Teams limited to players with preassigned lettered last names.
