Pluck Sal Bando off the FA wire asap & drop the 2 3bs you have now.

Don't dump Yaz, whatever you do, make sacrifices elsewhere, but keep him in LF

Agree, drop Robinson, Pendleton, Grab Bando (plus .05 backup, but does not have to play 3b, since bando cannot get injured)

Drop Frisch, get a .05 backup for 2B

If it were me, i would then drop Doby and add Dawson. I really like Doby in a pure pitchers park, but you will get more production from Dawson here... :)

I would also drop ford, and get a .05 back up. I rarely spend morethan .5 on a back up....not worth it in most cases

Seems like you have some overly expensive bench players. Dropping Pierce and Frisch should free up some $ to upgrade elsewhere.

After moves described, it gives you enough $$ to drop Hodges( a cronic underperformer) and grab Cooper. Cannot get hurt (only balance of game injury), and is an RBI machine! :wink:

Agreed. Way to much $$ tied up in bit players. Aparicio can't get hurt, you don't need Risberg at all. Pendleton and Brooks don't compliment each other. OBP is too low to score enough runs to win with that staff. Fingers has little value with Hernandez on the staff. You have some solid players. Covelski, Hernandez, Doby, Pendleton. Look to consolidate salary and improve the OF corners with some guys that can get on base and score some runs. There is enough there to work with if you are careful and scour the wire.

Clarification: Aparicio can get hurt, but only for 3 games at a spell.
