I'll get my theme out there in the morning.

So the grinding and gnashing of teeth will have to wait until then.

[quote:1155133660="he's meat"]Calvin Koonce was always one of my favorite Cubs names, looked a bit like Lee Harvey Oswald. Always wanted an excuse to use him, but never had the courage or inforced evilness to do so. we may need to hire price/waterhouse as an outside compliance authority. when are we starting this lobotomy?[/quote:1155133660]

Now.... being an accountant in my "REAL JOB", I could be hired much cheaper then price/waterhouse to do the job.

I figure for an 8 week trial, I could do it for just under $100 grand.

Seem fair.

Please let me know when the retainer check is coming so I can begin setting up my worksheets. 8)

You must have at least one hitter from each of 9 decades on your roster and at least 1 pitcher from each of 9 decades.

If you prefer you may instead have at least 1 hitter born in each of 9 astological signs and at leat 1 pitcher born in each of 9 astrological signs.

I will also allow you to use astrology for hitters and decades for pitchers or vice versa.

To even make it easier I would allow 8 decades(or signs) for either pitchers or hitters if you compensated by hitting 10 decades(or signs) for the other.

mr.bbw....I think with the catch and release and other forced swapping or replacing rules, it will be impossible to STAY decade compliant...except at 3b ofcourse, although you could trade your 3b for another, but must have a 1 there all season. may have to either say decade compliance is through the draft, or through unc's catch and release. also, foggy's rule will be hard to abide by by sticking to the same decade in replacing. no?

boyz...we gotta start examing conflicts and abject inability to comply in some of these rules, especially when taken as a whole.
for instance, memphis rule #8...the boston pilgrims. there are 5 pitchers, all rh, all starters, except winter who's s/r

of the positional players, the middle infield is completely ineligible, unless they dh...both ss's and 2b are 2 or above defensively.

I presume under the 3's defensive rule, you can also have a 4 at that position?

in addition, trying to get every positional player to add up to 21 is gonna be extremely difficult. 3b-1, ss-3,2b-3,cf-3,rf-3...by law. that gives you an automatic 13, (unless you can use a 4 as well for a 3) that means lf/c/1b MUST = 8.

oh, and don't forget, 1/2 must be lh/rh which ever is opposite of your ballpark, and cannot include a switch-hitter.

r.u getting all this?!

of the 15 3b....2 are lh, one sh, 12 rh hitters.
decades at 3b....6 from the 60's, 2 from the 20's,50's,70's, 1 from 00, 40's, and 80's, none from teens or 30's.

of mandatory .50 cf/ss/3b...

there are 32 in cf, however 8 are above 3 defensively so only 24 eligible

ss- 41 eligible...24 rh, 9-lh, 8-sh

2b-47 eligible, although I suspect close to half are part of ss group
34-rh, 6-lh 7-sh

decades? you're on your own. not sure how many are jewish negroes...

sooooooo...there are exactly 24 eligible cf .50 or under 3 or worse defensively, and your backup at the .50's must also be a .50. so do we limit each team to no more than two of the 24 eligible cf's?
