Yeah, I've heard Mays is a pretty good player.

would that be Willie Mays, or his brother Sillie? The few times I have had Mays, I always got the brother Sillie. Usually hit .240 with 1 HR every 30 AB (if that). :?

Anyone who trades Mays needs serious psycho analysis...

I'd be curious to know the exact terms of the trade...

I traded Mays for Snider (I was in Dunn) and it worked OK.

But the question for this thread is: did it pay off for the other guy?

Because you asked - Willie was playing closer to sillie when I got him - and Walters was a bad fit for the guy who traded him but is 12-3 for me

You give up:
Blair, Paul (3,220,000)
Yastrzemski, Carl (9,610,000)
Bench, Johnny (5,700,000)
Heintzelman, Ken (1,490,000)
Brecheen, Harry (6,650,000)

Other team gives up:
Mays, Willie (11,000,000)
Clarke, Fred (3,920,000)
Parrish, Lance (1,970,000)
McEnaney, Will (970,000)
Walters, Bucky (8,710,000)
