A LONG, frustrating streak comes to an end!

Since my last team to make the finals, I have had:
35 completed teams, out of which only 11 made the playoffs. Those 11 ALL lost in the semi's. :shock:
5 of those were up 2-0, only to then lose three straight. I had a 21 inning game 5 loss, and three other extra inning game 5 losses, just to mention some of the frustrating losses I suffered. Last night, a team of mine FINALLY reached the finals. Sadly, it came at the expense of a very injury depleted PJ squad. I feel bad for PJ, but man, the darkness has lifted. At last....a CREDIT! Yippee!
Now, there are lots of much better managers then me in this league, as my holding only three rings will attest to. And of course, I hope to win Ring #4 with this team:

It will be tough, as I face a very tough Griffith squad, with the usual stud pitchers:

But, win or lose, a weight has been lifted. So, appropriately, I give THANKS, on this Thanksgiving Eve! :)
On a side note, and a somwhat odd stat, during this 35 team streak, despite just a 31% of teams making the playoffs, my W% and games over .500 went up (from about 140 games over .500 to around 200 games over .500). Odd.

WOW! That was a tough storm to weather. I think a big block of teams will have some good luck for you now, so......

This is one of the best playoff matches I've seen so far. I was in this league and it was a tough one. Coffeeholic put together a great defensive team backed by a solid starting pitching rotation and Modmark has a devastating hitting lineup! Mod...congrats on your credit and making it to the finals. All 4 playoff teams were excellent and I will be following this one to see how it turns out. Good luck to both you and Coffee! :)

I really feel for you After the Gods of Strato allowed 2 playoffs and a ring in 1st 5 teams 19 straight non playoff teams with good chance to be 22 though 1 of those teams has a chance But I do play everything and have playoff teams in 05 and 69 so I know what I'm doing somewhere
