Avoiding Lefty/Righty Pitchers

Extreme relievers are best used as closers and not before the 8th or 9th. They can be more than effective and allow you to spend most of your pen money on 160+ inning relievers.

yes and you just gave away your best pitcher, zambrano, to the guy leading your div!!!!!!!!!!!!

and you got nothing in return!!!!!

you are headed for last now i think in that VERY tough division......

In the 2005 game, trading away SP is almost always a mistake...

That said, Zambrano isn't that marvelous in a pitchers' park he's kind of a waste of $$$ with all of that WHIP. That said, if you're in a pitchers' park and just traded for Beltran, you're screwed. He will hit .240.

I guess what I'm saying without knowing ALL the particulars, it was probably a mistake.

Beltran was hitting .289 for me...and is now at .328.
