Well, 13baseballs clock ran out. I gave him May, who was like the 5th guy down on his list. Somewhat cheap, to help with his cap issues (I was tempted to give him Gedman), but fits with the style of club I think he is building. Hope he's OK with the pick. :?

Halfway through the last round of the draft. It has gone pretty smoothly, I think. Thanks to you all for your participation, and assistance when needed. How many feel, like me, a little sad when a live draft ends? Everyone should check the thread where I have kept track of players drafted, by teams, to make sure I didn't omit someone, or put a player on the wrong team. Because Azrangers will not have internet access again until Sunday night, we will not be able to fill for tonight. So, we will plan on trying to fill by Mon. or Tue. You have Bunning as a phantom 13th player on my team- he was drafted by someone else- the rest of my list, 12 players, is OK.

Thanks Modmark for running a smooth draft. I agree with you about the letdown when the draft is over...then the anticipation to start the season. Should be a very competitive league. Hope all four teams in the Central keep it close all season.

I feel a bit "down" when live drafts are finished, most especially the partial ones (like this where we drafted 12 of the 25 players)... ah, well now I'll scour the boards for another live draft somewhere, sometime :roll:

Also, I just wanted to express my appreciation for the work you put it organizing this, and in keeping everything moving along- you did great in communicating, keeping everyone aware of what was going on at any givn momernt- and of course helped us by posting the players selected by division- a lot of that was optional "extra" work on your part, so I wanted you to know that it was appreciated- thanks :)
