What could help this team? Knowledgable players any feedback would be appreciated. Think pitching may be slightly thin. Sorry about that, this link should work.

Link doesn't work. Go to league statistics page and select your team. Copy and paste URL here.

Quick Observations:

1. What are the other parks in your division?

2. I'm not crazy about your RP. I'd find a hard RH that gets righties out, especially in Shibe.

3. I think you could lose Fuentes @ 3B, for a cheaper sub. Perez can only go down for 3 games, and a cheaper $.50 would be fine. (Look for someone that can play 2 or 3 INF positions).

4. Your middle INF looks weak defensively.

5. Your hitting looks good with Super Jew, Bonds, Mays, Carty etc.

My two cents

1) Drop Kaline for IF help (5 OF-can't use them all). You need a SS and/or 2B.

2) As SoCal has said, you also need a hard RH reliever- dump Segui (keep Gladding-no BP HRs). Also dump Podres (he'll get slaughtered) for a .50 starter and use the excess on the reliever.

I agree with much of what has already been said. I assume it is a DH league and Carty is your DH? If it is not a DH league then drop Carty. You also need a cheaper backup OF than Kaline. Try for Felipe Alou or Uhlaender or Walt Williams at most.

Drop Fuentes as you already have Wert as a backup 3B. With some of this excess money get a 2B. Mazeroski just won't cut it at all. If you are looking for inexpensive players look at Tommy Helms or maybe a Mazeroski/Ken Boswell platoon. Otherwise get a real 2B if you can.
