This league will be a 200m DH league. It will be a live draft. We will be drafting entire teams rather than individual players. The idea is to draft a pool of players that is exclusively yours. Throughout the course of the season, due to a 200m cap and a 5-10-20 penalty, each manager will be able to add/drop his/her players at any time without worrying about a salary cap penalty. Hopefully we can see some rather "unique" teams, hopefully not superstar laden, and get more involved with running our clubs as a manager and a GM.

This will be serpentine, with two rounds.
Managers will draft a full team (pitchers and hitters) with each pick.
Managers will have exclusive rights to every player on that team throughout the season.

After the 2 full teams are drafted, each manager should have about
30-40 players. Now we will have 2 more rounds, this time we will draft from the remaining pool of teams a full team's hitters OR pitchers. It is up to each manager to determine what they want/need and draft to fill out their rosters.


This draft will also be serpentine, with two rounds, continuing where the initial full team draft left off.
Managers will draft either the pitchers or the hitters from one of the remaining teams with each pick. Stock up on pitchers, stock up on hitters, or get some of each.
Managers will have exclusive rights to every player from the group they drafted throughout the season.





Once rosters are set, no trades. Your team is your team.

Midseason call up draft - after game 81
There will be a "call up" draft after the 81st game, the draft will be
four rounds (not serpentine this time, 1-->12, 1-->12, 1-->12, 1-->12) with the worst record drafting first and on up to the top record drafting 12th. Tiebreaker for this can be head to head if only two teams are tied at a given record, then run differential (lowest to highest) if more teams are tied (then back to head to head if we have further ties). This is a chance to save the season with the missing piece. Plenty of very good players will be left to add, giving every manager hope for a strong second half.

We will hold the "call up draft" during the 3rd week of the season, 4 rounds should go quickly, and we can add our players to our rosters for first use on the 82nd game of the season (which is a Sunday). We can work with this date to accomodate the league, but it will be around this point of the season.
