Why not equalize the number of events?

Would it not be advisable to require everyone on Tour to play the same number of events since this would make it much easier for everyone to know where they were in the standings and it would help standardize the level of competition in each event? As a first time participant, I have thoroughly enjoyed the tournament and I like the challenge of playing against the top players, but I can see where some managers might be turned off by the existing idiosyncracies in the format. I would like to close this posting by thanking everyone who plays a role in organizing the tournament. Keep up the good work!

I agree in principal with some of the things said. I think it is very difficult to tell where you stand in relation to the other managers. That being said, I think teepack and others who help out the tour should receive our thanks. Thanks!

Just a thought, but it might be fun to have the top 36 managers play in a Championship "Series." Setup 3 leagues, then have all the playoff teams play in a Championship League.

OR

How about letting the last 4 spots in the Championship League be decided by having managers ranked 9 through 20 play in a league. The playoff teams would then get the last four spots for the championship league.
