Re: Interesting Question

[quote:c980dccc4a="doctor_tax1"]I do not think that was addressed, but it would make sense that ypu could do it. You still would have the right to those 3 FA, but, if you forgot to pick one up, they should be available to all others.

Thus, you should list the FA'S at bottom 3 in your draft. Thats what I am doing, plus my other players, such as Manny and Varitek that are not available to any others.

Others opinions???????[/quote:c980dccc4a]
my feeling was that those 3 players would not be included that way you could draft 80 million and pare down afterwards this way you could only draft 80 million including the 3 and somehow try to build yourself back up if you lost out on common players. but it is not my idea and i will go along with what novie says

damn you doc... you took my other pick I really wanted. Sigh

Anyways [size=7:40ae8631be](I could be wrong)[/size:40ae8631be] but I thought Novie said that you 3 picks must be on your autodraft card.

My 2 most favorite players in real life and Strat is Pujols and Huff. I try to draft them everywhere I play, even going back to 2002.

They seem to fit in any scheme I have. Down side is Huff's d, but he plays on the corner, and either P or H is always my DH.

Folks remember sometimes you can't drop an autodraft selected player...ie closer, catcher,sp all those after the draft rules?

We will just drop the 2 highest salaried non-elligible players, if we have any, that we can right away. The other inelligible players, if any, should be dropped during waivers. We can't do any better than that.

My interpretation of novie's original rules (first posting) is that you MUST put all three live draft picks on your autodraft, but can drop them any time after.

Furthermore, if you drop them, I think they are back up for grabs and also you are free to replace with any other free agent (who never played for one of our 12 franchises). MAx 3 free agents at any time.

That's my interpretation. Sound right?

You must be an orator because I believe you were well versed in the correct ruling.

That sounds right to me too. I think you also have the right to pass, without selecting a free agent, during your turn of the FA draft if you so choose. You would then have the opportunity to pick up whatever free agents after waivers so long as you never have more than 3 on your roster at any one time.

I am ready to pick for etdefender when bunbury picks. I will check back after dinner.

It would sometimes help if I re-read my own rules once in a while before answering... yes, you MUST include your 3 FA picks in your AD list... you can drop/add them later if you want.

I corrected my above post.
