WOW!

Just got back from another long day at the hospital and noticed this thread.

Leaves a lump in my throat and tear in my eye to see that so many have responded here. From Andrea and myself, thank you all so very much for you well wishes during this difficult time. I only knew Eddie for 3 very wonderful years. Much as we are, he was just a little kid in a man's body. Always gave me hell for playing this silly game online. :) I can hear him now, "I've been trying to call all damn day, I bet you were playing that damn baseball game again weren't you!"

As for Andrea's mother, she will be fine physically in time. She suffered a broken ankle, wrist, 2 broken bones in her back and a concussion. Thankfully they found nothing wrong with her internally. We are just hoping we can get her out of the hospital in time for the funeral this weekend.

Again, thank you all so very, very much. Just shows what really great people we have in our little corner of the world here.

My sincere and heartfelt thanks!

Tim

Tim,

I am late to this topic but wish to join the other well-wishers. It is always hard to lose a family member. It is good to know that your mother-in-law should recover her full physical health. Always remember the good times, bad times are for getting through.

Well, at least I didn't have to live with the guilt of beating Tim in our Finals that just completed. As I suspected, he had such a strong team, he still kicked my butt even on autopilot.

Death is not bad, it is a portal into the next world. We are not bodies with souls, we are souls with bodies.
