In the Front Office page, go to the scheduled games section on the right side of the screen, and click on your team's name on one of the scheduled games. You will be taken to a page showing your team.

Click on the address at the top of that page. There should be a team number at the very end of that URL. Copy that either by hitting the right button on your mouse or by going to Edit & selecting the copy option there.

Then open the reply option for this message & paste it there (also by right clicking the mouse or using Edit/Paste.

There are other ways to do this, but this is how I was taught. Good luck with your team.

Welcome Pelzer.

Go to your teams statistics page and hover your mouse over your team's name. Then right click the mouse and you should see a menu pop up. Choose "copy shortcut" on that menu. Go back to you original post and choose "edit". Right click in the text box and choose "paste". Your link should paste there. Make sure it includes your league's ID number at the end of the link.

Good luck!

MY TAKE ON YOUR TEAM:

OK, you're in a fairly neutral park so you want to have a balanced team. You've done a very good job for a rookie try. On offense I see a definite lack of top-of-the-order hitters with OBP, speed and XBH. Your pitching is fine, but unspectacular. Perhaps spent too much on RP.

OFFENSE
The Good: Snider and Mathews are definite keepers.
The OK: Crandall's a decent inexpensive C, Garvey's not used much but he's usable... but only if your division parks are mostly HR parks. The same goes for Foster. Willis is decent.
The Ugly: Griffey Sr. is an underperformer and won't get you the OBP you'd expect out of him. Gantner is only used when you have no other options.

PITCHING
The Good: Eck is the best closer in this game. Try to get him as many innings as possible. Richert can be good, too, as long as you're mostly playing in neutral to pitcher's parks. Pattin is a good cheap slop reliever.
The OK: Young & Mathewson are used frequently and hold the most value in extreme HR parks. Never had that much love for Worthington, but some here like him.
The Ugly: Spahn and Wynn are rarely used because they are poor values.

Offensive free agents to consider: Joe Morgan at 2B as leadoff hitter. Reggie Jackson as middle of order hitter at RF. Ditto for Cooper at 1B. Keller could leadoff for you in LF. Inexpensive leadoff options include Snodgrass (good D in OF) and Clarke. Sam Rice can bat 2nd cheaply as a RF option. I love Damon Buford as a cheap leadoff option in LF. Whitaker would be a good partner with Javier at 2B. If you want someone in Gantner's price range, go for D.Garcia instead at 2B. And then consider pairing him with White vs. LHP for great D. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING Buford or Keller or Clarke in LF, Jackson or Rice in RF and Morgan at 2B.

Pitching FAs to consider: Walter Johnson is superior to Young for about the same price. Ames, Dineen, Maddox, Mullin, Willis, Pollet, Leifield will all post similar numbers to Young for less money in any park. Marquard and Ruffing will do well (better than Ames-Leifield about) if you're mostly playing in pitcher's parks. Erskine is a huge bargain, too, in pitcher's parks. Demaree is a nice bargain option as well in any park. Both these guys are better than Spahn/Wynn. Wanna go even cheaper with that last SP slot, Robin Roberts will do pretty good. As far as RPs go, Nelson is the best value I see. He'd definitely be an upgrade to Worthington. I'm also a big fan of Bahnsen if you're in mostly pitcher's parks. STRONGLY RECOMMEND replacing Young/Mathewson/Spahn/Wynn with Mullin/Maddox or Pollet/Erskine/Demaree. Not sure how the money works out, but I think it'll be cheaper and give you $$ to spend upgrading your offense.

My 2 cents, for what it's worth.

Though Raslavens 2 cents where more like a quarter , he is correct on alot things . Snider , Wills, and Mathews are very a good core to start with . Gantner blows , I'm using him in a hitters park and he isn't over the Mendosa line and the only reason I took him was because he was about the only one who had any D left. Garvey can be ok , but in hitter park primarily .Judge or Hernandez would be good here . Foster and Griffey could be boths Rice's, Jim and Sam . Neither gets hurt either and hit in any park . Your catchers are doable but don't expect big numbers from them . With pitching at your park (3 Rivers) You could go with lessor SP depending on your divsional opponants . Keep Eck and Richert. They will be of great value . There's several ways to handle your staff . Big $ starters ...what pen you have , or more pen and moderate starters ( Seaver, Gibson,Key,Covelski, Mayer types 5-7M. Pattin is ok but Watt would be better here IMO . Speece is ok but generally not that good . You could get by with Cy, Christy, and Spahn , but I'd try to get someone for Wynn. A Boyd , Nolan Wilson type . All in all you didnt do that bad a job and there are alot of variables in this game you have to learn . You'll do ok though . Your seeking help and that shows you want to learn .

Great advice, all the above. My only comments are that I am a fanatic on having 1s at 2b and SS. Even with a 2, you allow more balls through for hits or don't get as many DP. Also, I agree completely about Griffey Sr. Get a strong arm in RF, at least a -3 or better.

IMHO, but what do I know???

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Based on what I've read here I have made some changes. I have dropped Ken Griffey--Jim Gantner--Early Wynn--and Al Worthington. Players I picked up to replace them. Robin Roberts-SP.....Frank Robinson in place of Griffey in RF....Doug Sisk for Worthington to give me a little more L-R balance.......and Frank White for 2b. I'll probably use Javier as strictly a bu. There just isn't much left at 2b in my price range. Also the other parks in my division are Crosley Field 40'---Astrodome 86---Baker Bowl 15'---. I know I'm gonna get lit up in the Baker Bowl but then again everyone most likely will. So how would you rate these changes to my team??

Who's leading off for your team? Who's hitting 2nd? You need some OBP up there. Some for Snider and Mathews, etc. to knock in. Frank Robinson is not the answer. He's a bit overpriced and injury prone. Again, I highly recommend Buford and Rice for your corner OF spots.

P.S. Having expensive backups for Garvey (Klu) and Wills (Groat) is pointless since they can't get hurt. Grab someone like Schaefer or Quirk or Reynolds for .50 who can play a lot of spots. You only need 13 hitters.
