All I can say is thank goodness I'm the one on top, but check out this division ...

The Empty Boxscores EGVRICH 67 38 .638
Seattle Mt Stuarts VII sschu 62 43 .590
Mpls Spitters & Grabbers jmeyer2 61 44 .581
Steel Curtain jhart27 55 50 .524

Last place team is 5 games over .500. Combined, the division is a whopping 70 games over .500!

Coach, better watch Seattle. The manager is "ruthless." Takes no prisoners.

No, I would not want to be in this division, much rather be in the central .... :)

Coach forgot to mention his team ERA is 2.38, on track for 2nd best ever. Not sure we can catch him..... LOL!

Hmmm, how did I get a reputation as "ruthless"!

Playoff or not, it kills me when I get stuck in a division like this.

I'm in another league where Frank Bailey has the 3rd best record in the league with a winning % up around .570 and he's been stuck in 3rd place all year behind me and another team. If the season ends today, he doesn't make the darned playoffs with a 90+ win team.

I understand goldy :)

The other thing that happens in division like this is the wildcard matchup, the two best teams square off in the Semis. That is one rule that needs to be looked at IMHO.

Agreed about that one too sschu. I've seen 101 win teams play 98 win teams in the semis, while the other matchup features a couple of 85-90 win teams, that's not right ...........

WEST W L PCT GB HOME ROAD RS RA
Stilllife Woodpeckers 98 64 .605 - 52-29 46-35 745 654
PSYCHOPATHIC SPITBALLERS 93 69 .574 5.0 57-24 36-45 750 676
Earth Defense Protectorate 92 70 .568 6.0 53-28 39-42 833 640
Speed Kills 77 85 .475 21.0 44-37 33-48 666 714

This is my personal sob story, as the owner of the 92 win team. 3 teams with +/- over 80, a +/- of 193 out of the playffs, and the cellar team still respectable. Check out the roster of the 4th place team, and tell me it looks like a 4th place team.
