purely offensive abaility for DH vs RH Wally backman or Tim flannery??

I would take Backman hands down. He's got more hits and is a much better runner (1-16 I think, whereas Flannery is 1-11). They both have horrendous negative clutch, but otherwise Backman is just the better hitter. Flannery walks more and is slow - bad combo.
