We cannot play the 1986 game any longer

Recently you may have noticed that you cannot create any more free teams if you already have 5 or more going. That is fine. I can certainly understand them wanting to limit any one person having way too many free teams going.

HOWEVER, since I have 5 or more teams going myself and could not get any more free teams, I was trying to create another 1986 team by either purchasing a team or redeeming a free credit from a playoff team in a different game. I found out that I was not able to do this so I contacted TSN to verify this is true and this is what they had to say.

"Dear Manager,


Yes, that is correct. The ’86 game is still free, so at this time you cannot purchase more credits to play the game. When the ’86 game becomes platinum, you will then be able to pay for credits and have unlimited number of teams in the game.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns."

So most of us are now prevented from playing this 1986 game for 7-8 weeks when our current teams finish or some unknown date in the future when we are able to purchase teams whichever comes first. :evil:

Interesting way to run a business. I've owned a software consulting business for 15 years. If I treated customers in the same manner as TSN, I would have been out of business 14 years, 364 days ago. Perhaps I should shut up...you never know who will be banned next.

TSN is truly fortunate this game is an addiction.

Be nice if they had let people know ahead of time. For our theme of the month group we were going to use 1986 platform but not everyone can now get a team so not sure what we will do now.
