As mentioned in an earlier post...Boni and I will host a social event on Saturday, November 5th at the Foundation Room (Private Club) at the top of the Mandalay Bay... The event is scheduled from 6-9pm in the Shangri-La Room which is the same one as last March. Promise to have it stocked with lots of food and spirits...

Gentlemen (and potentially associated ladies): I'm gonna have to beg off the Fall LV Soiree. I'd love to attend, but need to wait for the Spring Ball. I was on the fence until Katrina, and now thinking of myself hanging in Debaucheryland when the money could go elsewhere is just a bit much.

Of course I'm already saving my meager cowries for the Spring Shindig. Enjoy gents and leave some Crown for us in the Spring.

I am also booked at the Orleans, and if there is interest in tournament play, I will inquire about booking a meeting room, and arranging for any equipment we might need, which would be very little if we bring laptops loaded with the game and rosters needed.

Sounds like great fun. If my wife and I can get a sitter for the weekend(Not very easy to do), we (Or I) will attend. I have missed several other events and would really like to hook up with more SOM VETS. SWP
