Question about Ron Cey

What makes Cey so expensive? Only 256 AB, a 4 defense? All at the cost of 5.68 mil

His high OBP and excellent power especially vs LHP. He is good vs RHP and really good vs LHP. However he has a 2 injury rating, can go down for 15 games at a stretch and is a 4 defender. If he had 600 PA he probably would be 1M higher in salary. I like him in a HR park.

Basically, Cey's offense is great. Great enough, as LMB stated, to be much higher priced if he was a 1 or 2 defensively or could not get hurt as often.
Ultimately, I think, he's a bargain as a DH. And if you do $100+ or live draft, you can platoon him if you want to maximize his strengths.
