The Original USKL -- TSN Version 2011 (Chat Room)

nice deal

I think that works for both sides.

Hey Sandy, can you recap for us what the deal is for the supp draft (how the order is determined) and when you want to hold it?

Thanks!

That can be found in the Excel Sheets I sent you during the FA Draft and on the Charter and Rules thread in this forum (which I just bumped).

We'll have it a couple of weeks or so after the league world series has concluded.

I usually do not hold it as quickly after as you seem to do in the HCKL. It will be closer.

It will be in the middle of June I am guessing so there will be almost a half season of MLB stats to use.

The supplemental draft was originally intended to happen sometime around the All-Star break.

Lot has changed from "originally", though. As long as its not too early (so that next year's numbers are meaningless), or too late (so that next year's numbers are pretty much set). The original idea was partial, but not complete, guesswork.

The way hitters are going so far, I'm going to need to guess really well. Its damn depressing to look at the OPS numbers on ESPN and see ONE of my players on the first page of leaders.

Hence why I said the middle of June.

My goal is to do it when the MLB season is half over. The All-Star Break actually is about a weeks worth of games or so after that.

Qk is actually doing the one in the HCKL very soon, but I feel that's too early.

As I said before, we now have a Charter to refer to on any questions that has many rule changes past "originally."

Thanks,

Sandy

One can hope! But at this point they'd have a significant chance of being better than Delcarmen for next year. Can't believe I passed on Barton for him now, I could really use a 1B...

Well, looking ahead, I have four 1B for two spots (1b and DH) in 2009.

Pena, Berkman, Cabrera and Votto.
