Yup, keep Keller. Forget those other two clowns.

And now for your anti Frank Bailey lineup.

Smith
North
Keller
Cobb
Chance
Robinson
Battey
Evers

vs righties.

Drop Smith to 7 or 8 against lefties.

Chance bats fifth because of his clutch and he can drive in more runs than the two guys at the top of the order. Plus Cobb is often among the league leaders in intentional walks. Having a + clutch guy as good as Chance should dissuade Hal from walking Cobb with two out. The two guys on top really shouldn't bat anywhere but 1-2 as their strengths are just speed and OBP. Keller could easily switch with Cobb and bat 4th. But Cobb is your best everything offensively and should drive in more runs than Keller. I normally use Keller primarily as a tablesetter but you have six tablesetters!!

Now for settings. Slow hook for Koufax and Clemens, nothing for Lolich and quick hook for Sanderson. Running I would use normal and same for basestealing. With aggressive basestealing Hal steals third way too much and can take you out of some innings. For basestealing to be effective you need it to work 70 % of the time. Munich Man likes aggressive running but you might want to tweak that on a per series basis depending on the OF arms of the opposing teams. I would definitely put Cobb on steal more on his own card but as for the rest of them, I might not check off the steal more box. Again Hal makes some really dumb attempted steals when not called for so I try to minimize this while not taking away from the ability to steal when required. I would put hit and run and bunt to conservative. Even though you are a classic small ball team you have very good hitters. Let 'em bat. Except for Evers. For him I would check off hit and run more, steal more and bunt more.

With the relievers check set up for Garber, both ways. He's your best and you want him to get as many innings as possible. Other than that I'd leave the relievers to Hal to manage. If you give HAL too many instructions he actually manages worse than his abysmal baseline.

Weaver is a very expensive back up for Chance. But unless both Chance and Robinson are injured at the same time, Weaver does cover you for both positions. So I can understand your logic.

Their is alot of random variablity over 162 games. You could win anywhere from 65-110. But I suspect you should be good for at least 90 wins on average.

Excellent team. Now it's just about good luck. Oh yeah, and beating Frank.
