1 player per team - League is full

Our historical single season sets

Postby LMBombers » Sat Jul 12, 2008 11:49 am

Yeah my list of other pro sports sites where I have seen a game is much shorter.

NBA - Orlando Arena
NHL - Tampa Bay Lightning (Ice Palace)
NFL - Tampa Stadium & Raymond James (Tampa)

Now if you ask me about college football my list is much longer!

You can tell my two favorite sports.....MLB and college football.

This is my new favorite theme. I would be in Larry. If there is a choice I would vote for the '03 set since I wasn't playing this online game at that time and they would all be new cards to me but I would be in either way! One small problem....I just looked and the '03 or '05 cards are not available on the somdraft.com site. They only have ATG, 2008, 1969, 1986, 70's & 80's.

There is an identical sign up going for 1969 too. rmilter, Don't worry about not following baseball in 1969. I was only 4 but it is still strat and strat cards all read the same. 8-)

I would be interested in the '69 all-team draft. It's been awhile since I had a '69 team.....though it's been one of my favorite games. I also just noticed that my overall SOM Ranking is #69! Now if that isn't a signal from the strato gods to play the '69 season, then I don't know what is!

I would definitely be in. I like this format a lot.

12.50 sounds good to me too (wife not to happy with $100.00 spent over the month :D) but if you can't do a draft with those years then I guess '69 it is.

I have no idea about any of those cards and a lot of the players (I was born in 1970) but what the heck its only $25.00

For anybody interested in doing this same theme in the 1969 theme go to the 1969 forum and sign up for the O.F.E.T. league.

Hey LM,
Is there a way to scope out the 1969 set, before you purchase a credit? I am open to trying any league with this theme, although I think 1969 would put me at the greatest disadvantage(and I am already way behind you guys in experience). The first year I really starting playing SOM and paying attention to stats and players was 1979. I was eight at that time. Would this type of theme(one player per team) work with ATG?

Jump on in with me Milty. You and I are in the same boat. My first year of strato and following baseball was 1978. I was 8 yrs old then. We can try to win one for the rookies!!
