Keith Hernandez endorsements????

Not a recommendation. Could be because I thus far have batted him #6 which is probably too low in the lineup.

Personally even in small ball, I need more production or on base from my 1B guy.

[quote:edf8de66e5="muttdoc"]I am often mistaken for Keith, and on several occasions have gone ahead and signed autographs for particularly persistant fans. Who am I to ruin their fun? But besides the fact that he is easily the most handsome person to ever play the game, his lack of power, and horrendous lack of foot speed are drawbacks to using him. In small cap leagues is where he seems to be most valuable, on small ball teams. But I would rather have Judge or Chance.[/quote:edf8de66e5]

But did you ever get to make out with Elaine Benes???

He's a decent announcer. The new Mets network is pairing him with Ron Darling for the color part of the broadcast. He also does a decent job selling "Just for Men" with Clyde Frazier.

Keith apparently does not like playing in Shea:

Good mixture of offense in "D". After 66 games in Griffith hitting #5 behind some studs:
242 24 10 6 40 32 0 6 .318 .442 .394
Best of all, he's hitting .500 vs the hated Doughboy's of Pillsbury.

Was not impressed with him in Forbes. Ended up dropping him.
