one pitch = one inning pitched

one pitch = one inning pitched

I don't think I've ever seen this before, in real baseball or SOM. The pitcher records an inning pitched for throwing one pitch:

*** BOTTOM OF INNING 7 ***
0 M.Ramirez 3 Single (RF) b-1
0 1 N.Markakis 4 Walk 1-2 b-1
SUBSTITUTE P - Jason Isringhausen
SUBSTITUTE 3B- Nick Punto
0 12 D.Pedroia 1 Line Out (3B) TRIPLE PLAY! 2-o 1-o b-0

And ... the double-switch brought in the guy who caught the line drive.

You have set a record that will never be broken. (Okay, theoretically it could be broken, but get real!)

Thanks -- but HAL gets the credit!

A triple play on ZERO pitches? I suppose it could happen with either a triple steal on a pick-off move, or a double-steal on a pick-off with the batter called out on interference ....

Any other possibilities?
