Tincup and Schalk vs. Miller and Battey?

In a $50 mil league and playing in Forbes w/divisional opponents in Dunn, Yankee '56 and Olympic.

Gonna try the old super bullpen strategy here and was lucky enough to get quality cheap SP's and quality RP's.

I had Tincup and Schalk, but swapped them out for Battey and Miller.

With Fryman and Perranoski already in the pen, I plan on using Miller as "mop-up" and have Battey in the line-up for some extra pop and clutch in the 6 or 7 hole.

I don't really expect Tincup and Schalk to remain on the FA list long enough for me to switch back, but was wonderring about the wisdom of this move. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Coffee

Oh yeah, should add that this is a DH league.

Tincup is better than Miller and Schalk can put up some good numbers. Where you will really see the difference. I will never have an "8" speed on any of my teams. Battey is a slug.

Thanks for the input Munich Man. I'd already switched back, based on the same logic you just presented (as well as Schalk's better "D"). (_)B
