2007 Two Team Theme League - ndowdy up w/pk #6

Postby AeroDave10 » Thu Sep 04, 2008 10:36 am

I like this idea a lot as I was in a similar league earlier this year. I have a bit going on right now, but I may sneak in to spot #11 or 12 if it fills up. This is also my way of giving this league a gratuitous bump ;)

I still haven't played my first season of 2007. I have played a format like this before and enjoyed it, so I figured it was time to jump in.

I want to make sure I let everyone know my computer availability will be hit and miss over the next two days.

Tomorrow is my boys birthday party at 3:30. I should be able to check periodically and will be around during the evening.

Sunday however I will not be around much at all and will not have computer access between roughly noon - 9PM.

So if the league fills up, I may not be around to administer the lotto results. Anyone please feel free to chronicle the results here and determin draft order.

We will use the results the night the league fills - whether it is officially stated in between the time league fills and the drawings or not.

Ok. I'll bite. Two more please, and we'll get rockin' and rollin'. I do have two requests/questions.

1. Are you allowed only the two players you draft at the beginning from the other 6 teams?

2. Is it possible for you to change the waiver rule to 5-10-20 or 10 instead of 20?

AeroDave,

1) If I understand you right, yes. After the supplemental draft, all the players on the 6 teams that go undrafted are ineligible for play the entire season.

2) I don't care on way or the other, but I would first want to make sure there are no objections from anyone else who has already signed up.

Any objections to a 5-10-20 wavier drop gang?

Yep. That's exactly what I was asking.

We're not really competing against each other for FA after the draft, so the waivers don't prevent us from going after guys that other people would want. We really only hurt ourselves experimenting with different players on our own teams. Might as well not kill ourselves ;)
