Let's "not" turn two

Postby AeroDave10 » Sun Sep 14, 2008 6:57 pm

Who are the best at not grounding in to double plays? I know B. Phillips, C. Lee, and A. Pujols are some of the worst.

Here are some players with <5 DP chances vs. RHP. Generally they fall into two groups:

"Good Luck Doubling Me Up I Was The 100 Meter Champ In High School"

or

"There Isn't Any Room On My Card For A gb(a) Because I Whiff To Much"

Werth
Ludwick
Davis
Cust
Granderson
Taveras
Bourn
Duncan
Reyes
Howard
Thome

Your right about Pujols (33 chances; 15 vs. LHP), Lee (32;32) and Phillips (32;31).

The most DP's vs. RHP are brought to you by Kory Casto with 38.
I'm surprised there hasn't been a theme league with his name in the title.

I've used him a few times and he'll put up big #'s if he plays in hitting parks.

What LMBombers says...

I am most concerned about his ABs (injury) and his HR production. Some of these stats do not IMO justify using him in CF as a 3.

Still, there's nothing else left out there that I can afford, so I think I'm gonna roll the dice (so to speak.)

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Nothing? Really?? Exactly who is left at CF that is at least a 3 with single digit errors and a salary of at least $2M?

I think you should be fine with him in CF.

I'd be more concerned with your pitching. Dice-K is a cannon fodder in your park.

I love Corpas.

Franklin is servicable but all else is bad.
